Ronald Roensch is vice president of legal, dealer development and training operations for Toyota Material Handling, U.S.A., Inc. (TMHU). He is responsible for the overall management of all legal activities for TMHU, as well as oversight of all dealer development and training operations matters.
Roensch joined TMHU in 2002. Previously, he held the position of general counsel and also has supervised the human resources department.
Roensch has dedicated the majority of his professional career to product safety and liability. Prior to joining TMHU, he directed his own consulting firm, Roensch Engineering Associates, where he counseled clients on the safety and design of construction, industrial, utility, agricultural, automotive and consumer products. During that time, he also held the position of adjunct instructor, engineering safety and products liability at Marquette University’s College of Engineering in Milwaukee, Wis. Prior to that, he was United States legal counsel for Simon Access - North America, a British-owned manufacturer of construction and utility equipment.
Roensch received his bachelor’s degree in engineering from University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wis., and his juris doctorate from Marquette University School of Law in Milwaukee, Wis.
Roensch resides in Glendora and has a son, Andrew, and two daughters, Kristin and Kaitlin, and a son-in-law, Ryan.
