Toyota has further enhanced its commitment to responsible stewardship of the environment by partnering with the Arbor Day Foundation, a relationship the company established in 2006. As a result of the partnership, more than 57,000 trees will be planted in national forests and local parks damaged by fire or other natural causes by the end of 2009. Through Toyota Industrial Equipment’s network of dealers, 10,500 seedlings have been distributed to nonprofit organizations and customers to help sustain local communities throughout the United States.
