The Toyota Industrial Equipment Mfg. (TIEM) campus totals 998,000 square feet of facilities sitting on 126 acres. Opened in 1990, the facilities include a National Customer Center and training center, manufacturing operations, and distribution centers for equipment and service parts. The total investment exceeds $113 million.
The new NTCC was designed expressly to serve Toyota customers and dealers and includes a 360-degree showroom and a facility for live product demonstrations. The NTCC embodies Toyota's dedication to providing best-in-class customer service. Combined with Toyota's network of 73 authorized Toyota Industrial Equipment (TIE) dealers, with more than 224 dealership locations throughout the United States and Canada, Toyota provides the most comprehensive customer service and support in the industry. In fact, Toyota lift trucks have been ranked number one for lowest cost of ownership, and for the seventh year in a row, scored highest in quality and value in a study conducted by Peerless Media Research Group.
The company's new and Certified Used lift trucks, fleet services, parts, service and financing capabilities make Toyota dealerships a one-stop shop.
Since the sale of its first lift truck in the United States to the production of its 350,000th lift truck produced at the TIEM facility in November of 2009, Toyota has enjoyed a solid presence in the United States. The majority of Toyota lift trucks sold in America are manufactured in the U.S.
