Toyota Material Handling USA, Inc.
Cesar Jimenez is director of product planning, technical services and warranty for Toyota Material Handling, U.S.A., Inc. (TMHU). He and his team are responsible for Toyota’s product line throughout its life cycle, including pre-development, launch, warranty, and the ongoing resolution of any technical problems.
Cesar began his career at Toyota as a college intern in the summer of 1996. Since then, he has held a number of positions, including market application engineer, product planning engineer, product marketing engineer, electric product planning and product marketing manager, national product planning manager and most recently, national product planning and training manager. He has been instrumental in the successful launch of more than 25 material handling products during his career at Toyota.
As a member of the Industrial Truck Association, Cesar is currently serving as the Vice Chairman of the Energy Storage Systems Subcommittee and also currently serves on the General Engineering Committee.
In 1993, Cesar was the recipient of a Toyota-funded four-year scholarship from the Hispanic Scholarship Fund, an organization that provides the Latino community with more college scholarships and support than any other in the world. He earned his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Southern California.
Cesar resides in Columbus, Indiana with his wife Elena, and their two daughters Giselle and Sophia.
