Whether you are an operator or a pedestrian, Toyota’s #1 priority is to help create safe products for workers in the material handling industry.  In an effort to build awareness around forklift safety, Toyota is a large supporter of National Forklift Safety Day.

In fact Toyota representatives visited Capitol Hill in June 2014 to show the company’s support for the inaugural National Forklift Safety Day. An average of 85 forklift related fatalities happen each year, and according to government statistics, up to 30% of accidents are directly related to a lack of operator training.
